Enjoy water sports on Portugal’s longest golden beach at Pine Cliffs

The longest stretch of golden sand beach in Portugal, let alone the Algarve, Praia da Falésia is renowned for its stunning amber-red sandstone cliffs above the blue Atlantic waters. With a pine tree forest crowning magnificent cliff-tops serving as a backdrop, guests relax on complimentary sun beds along  the luxurious Pine Cliffs resorts very own private beach from April through October.

Beach service from the Pine Cliffs Reoirt’s Beach Club restaurant offers a variety of fresh salads and seafood dishes, as well as refreshing drinks and a delicious selection of ice creams. Live entertainment is offered on select evenings throughout the summer.

For those who love the water, the Pine Cliffs Water Sports Centre offers a variety of activities that allow you to make the most of the beautiful Praia da Falésia, including sailing, windsurfing and jet-skiing. Hire jet-skis to zip around the gorgeous blue Atlantic waters, or take water skiing lessons to help you brush up on your moves as you fly across the waves. Children and adults alike can enjoy wakeboarding lessons or hours exploring the coastline in one of our kayaks or pedal boats that are available for hire. For some extra thrill, try our ringo rides, and groups of up to five people can enjoy our couch and banana boat rides! Feel the excitement as a speedboat pulls your raft faster and faster, and try to hang on!

The Praia de Falésia is renowned for its stunning beauty and the wide variety of amazing water sports offered by Pine Cliffs, but it is also the only beach in the Algarve to have been awarded the prestigious Bandeira Dourada (the “Golden Flag”) award, which is bestowed by the European Union.
